KULA NIRMULANA SANGHAM (CASTELESS SOCIETY)

Inspired by the ideas of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia, Kula Nirmulana Sangham (KNS) (Casteless Society of India) was founded in 1972 in Hyderabad with the vision of building a society free from caste-based discrimination and inequality.

The organisation was established with the support and leadership of distinguished personalities including the then Law Secretary to the Government of Andhra Pradesh Jaggarlamudi Veera Swamy, Suramouli, Lavanam, Nageswara Rao, D.G. Rama Rau, Bhadrivishal Pitti, Prof. Keshava Rao Jadhav, and many other eminent social reformers who played a pivotal role in shaping the movement.

For over five decades, KNS has remained at the forefront of the campaign to eradicate the caste system through sustained social reform initiatives. Since its inception, the organisation has organised thousands of inter-caste and inter-religious marriages, public meetings, awareness programmes, and community outreach initiatives to challenge caste-based discrimination and promote social equality.

KNS has been instrumental in encouraging and supporting inter-caste and inter-religious marriages, contributing significantly to their growing acceptance in society. Through its unwavering commitment to constitutional values, social justice, and human equality, KNS continues to work towards creating a just, inclusive, and casteless India.

Eradicating Caste. Empowering Humanity.

At Kula Nirmulana Sangham, our mission is to:

  • Eliminate caste-based divisions from every layer of society — social, cultural, and institutional.
  • Foster unity and communal harmony by promoting inter-caste and inter-religious marriages.
  • Dismantle caste indicators in names and housing to create a truly inclusive environment.
  • Educate and empower young minds to choose love and equality over tradition and discrimination.
  • Provide legal and emotional support to couples who challenge societal norms for a better tomorrow.
  • Collaborate with progressive organizations and forums to amplify the voice of equality.

Through active awareness programs, debates, student initiatives, legal aid, and community support, we strive to build a new India — one where humanity leads, and caste recedes.

A Just, Equal, and Caste-Free Society

Kula Nirmulana Sangham envisions a society where every individual is valued not for their caste, religion, or birth, but for their character, values, and humanity. We dream of a world where love transcends caste boundaries, where intercaste and interfaith marriages are celebrated, and where true equality becomes the norm — not the exception.

OUR GOALS

Towards a Casteless Society

Encourage Inter-Caste and Inter-Religious Marriages

A minimum incentive of ₹10,00,000 should be provided to couples entering inter-caste or inter-religious marriages.

Punish Oppression, Reward Progress

Legal action must be taken against those who oppose or obstruct inter-caste marriages, while those who support them should be publicly recognized and encouraged.

Establish a Caste Eradication Commission

A dedicated commission should be formed in every district and mandal to monitor caste-based discrimination and promote caste-free unity.

Create a Special Marriage Support Corporation

A government-backed corporation should be formed to support inter-caste and inter-religious marriages with funds, housing, and employment aid.

Reservation for "Ideal Indians"

Individuals in inter-caste and inter-religious marriages should be recognized as "Ideal Indians" and provided 5% reservation in government jobs and education.

Launch Mass Awareness Campaigns

Use print, digital, and broadcast media to promote the values of caste eradication, love, and equality.

Build Caste Eradication Centers

Construct centers across districts to provide legal support, counseling, and shelter to individuals facing caste-based oppression.

Voice Against Honour Killings

Prema Karuvaye

"Prema Karuvaye" is a powerful musical protest by Kula Nirmulana Sangham (KNS) against the brutal reality of honour killings and the caste system that continues to fuel them. Sung by renowned Telangana folk singer, poet, and social activist Vimalakka, the song is interwoven with real photographs and footage of young couples who were murdered for choosing to marry across caste or religious boundaries, making it both a tribute to the victims and a call for justice. Through its poignant lyrics, Prema Karuvaye exposes how caste prejudice, religious intolerance, and false notions of family prestige poison human relationships, turning parents into perpetrators and destroying the lives of their own children. It challenges society to reject caste-based discrimination, uphold the constitutional right to choose one's life partner, and build a future founded on equality, compassion, liberty, and human dignity.
